Order Forms
Only one set is provided to each school. If your school has received one in the first (2019) round, you can order an ‘expansion pack’ to convert your 2019 set to the larger second (2023) round version. Both sets and expansion packs are free, and can be ordered using the forms below.
Please note the following conditions:
• There is a strict policy of only one set per school, and if your school received a First Edition set in 2019, then you should order an Expansion Pack instead, via the appropriate form below.
• The sets are only available to Australian secondary schools, or combined schools where they will only be used at secondary school level.
• Sets are distributed free of charge.
• There are exactly 1000 sets available in the second round (with the 600 first round sets already distributed), and there are currently no plans to make further sets once they have all been distributed.
• Sets are donated to the school not the individual. If you leave the school then the Element Set should remain behind at the school it was donated to.
• By ordering a set you agree to take all responsibility for the safety, storage and proper handling of the set once received, both in and out of the classroom.
• Please download and consult both the Teachers’ Notes and the SDSs available on the Resources page before using the set.
• Upon receipt of a set the lids on each sample container should be glued on, as per the instructions in the Teachers’ Notes. It is ESSENTIAL that these instructions are followed closely to avoid damaging the containers.
First round (2019) expansion pack
Order form available here. Only use this form if your school was sent a set in the first round and it has not yet been updated with the new elements that are now in the larger second round sets (Hf, Ho, Gd, Y, Ge). Note also that these are only of use if you already have a 2019 set.
Second round (2023) complete set
Order form available here, however there are now no more complete sets available. All 1000 sets have now been sent to schools. You may still (for the moment) order a set, however these will be constructed from a limited supply of samples leftover from the main batch of sets (until I run out), and I cannot guarantee that the sample quality or set completeness will be the same as the main batch.
